The thesis solves the topical scientific problem of substantiating theoretical and methodological approaches toward the peculiarities of organizing the provision of recreational services by local self-government bodies in the саpital region. The framework of categories and concepts of the recreational sphere is expanded by bringing into scientific use the author's definition of such notions as "organization of providing recreational services by local self-government bodies" and "саpital region".
