Essay

Research include complex psychological observation of 142 patients with chronic acne (75 women and 67 men). The basic psychological problems and features of psychoemotional condition among patients with acne established in the study. Common signs of psychological distress in patients with chronic acne were subdepressive emotional state, high levels of personal and situational anxiety. In addition, characterized personal patterns and specificity of coping, peculiarities of interpersonal relations, psychosocial functioning in patients with chronic acne. Personal peculiarities of patients with acne maintain neuroticism, depressiveness, reactive aggressiveness, shyness, irritability, emotional lability, introversion, coping behavior - strategies of distancing, avoiding and abstraction. The changes in the look had negative influence on self-perception, which caused problems in interpersonal relations. Psychosocial functioning in patients with chronic acne damaged also. Research data used for developing and implementing complex of psychological measures for patients with chronic acne that consist of psychoeducation, psychocorrection and psychosocial training. Proven effectiveness of psychological measures.
