Malash O. Folk flora names in the Bulgarian linguistic view of the world

Object: Bulgarian folk plant names. Objective: the analysis of a role of the folk plant names in the linguistic world image organizing. Methods: description, world-building analysis, contrastive, comparative and historical analysis, linguoculturological approach. Scientific novelty: for the first time the Bulgarian folk flora names have been analyzed in the Ukrainian Slavonic studies in the light of their relation to the ethno-lingual view of the world, the structural and semantic peculiarities of the folk plant names have been established, the linguo-cultural and ethno-lingual capability of the Bulgarian folk floronymy has been researched at scale of the main lingual oppositions. Practical value: the results of research may be used in lecture courses and special courses of Bulgarian studies, in expanding the vocabulary of Bulgarian explanatory and translation dictionaries.
