The dissertation is devoted to the psychological conditions of the vocational educational establishments' pupils' assertive behaviour development study. Vocational educational establishments' pupils' assertive behaviour is presented as a confident, positively oriented and socially active interaction with others, which is based on value attitude to the other and self-attitude, provides significant for a personality goal achievement. The model of assertive behaviour is developed and presented. It includes such components: cognitive (indicators: moral principles formation, reflection, identification, attitude to others); emotional-affective (indicators: self-regulation of emotions and feelings, emotional reactions' displays adequacy, need of emotional interconnection with others); resultant (indicators: self-confidence, social boldness, initiative in social contacts). It is ascertained, that leading psychological conditions of pupils' assertive behaviour are internal conditions - related with the providing of individual psychological features and qualities of pupil's personality development and self-development which cause the choice of assertive behaviour forms, and external conditions - realized in purposeful, systemic psycho-pedagogical educational influence on the personality and creation of developmental teaching and educational environment, due to which the assertive behaviour development takes place. Organizational-methodic basis of psychological conditions of the vocational educational establishments' pupils' assertive behaviour development diagnostic research are elucidated, the instruments for assertive behaviour development level complex diagnostics are presented. The analysis of assertive behaviour components' development level empiric research results by the empiric characteristics is given; the correlations between assertive behaviour components and their influence on each other are defined. The vocational educational establishments' pupils' assertive behaviour development program is worked out. It included social-psychological training for the assertive behaviour development, facultative course for the development of self-cognition, self-respect and own honour and virtue raising, individual psychological consulting, individual correction work with pupils. The vocational educational establishments' pupils' assertive behaviour development program's effectiveness is proved. It is displayed in positive changes of all assertive behaviour components' formation: the number of pupils with high and mean levels of cognitive, emotional-affective and resultant components increased; the number of pupils with low level of these components decreased.
