In this wirk the power saving system of cascade disk-gear-type extrusion is designed on the basis of physical and mathematical modeling of processes wich take place during polimer material extrusion. The aplication of disk type extruder with dosing feed for melting and homogenization processes and gear-type pump for pressure generation and dosing is substantiated. The physical and mathematical models of mass and heat transfer processes in gear-type pump on the basis of equation of mass, impulse and energy conversation are created. The characteristics are defined and calculation technique and appropriate software for determination of main parameters of gear-type pump during pumping of high viscosity polymer liquid melt are designed. The adequacy of created models is validated by the results of experimetals researches wich have been carried out. The modes of combined action of aggregates of cascade disk-gear-type extruder are determinated experimentally and proposed for practical using. Also it is determinated that using of such type of extruder in technological lines for polymer processing allows save up to 4% of raw materials and energy.
