Object: manuscript materials of diary notebooks (1948-1984) of D. Humenna. Aim: synthetic analysis of the diary from the point of view of its genesis and genre specificity psychological function. Practical value: the results and generalizations of the dissertation can be used when teaching general literary-historical and theoretical courses and seminars, studying the history of Ukrainian literature of the XX century, they are promising for research studios on the problems of the genre and psychology of creativity.
