Kvaternyuk O. Method and means of digital colorimetry of superficial injuries biotissues in forensic medicine

The object of the study is the process of determining the time of occurrence of superficial damages of human soft tissues with blunt objects for the tasks of forensic medicine. The purpose of the thesis is to increase the reliability of determining the time of occurrence of surface damages of human soft tissues with blunt objects by color segmentation of images and the creation of an appropriate hardware-software tool. Methods of research: methods for colorimetry of biological tissues; processing color images of surface damage; methods of measurement theory. The theoretical results: a mathematical model is proposed that establishes the relationship of a set of points in the color space of surface damage to human soft tissues and the time of their onset; the method for establishing the time of occurrence of superficial damages of human soft tissues with blunt objects is improved, taking into account the color segmentation of images; the dependence of the relative sizes of zones of different colors on the time of occurrence of surface damages was first experimentally determined by calculating the total color difference using an improved scale of color samples. Practical results consist in the development and implementation of a means for establishing the time of occurrence of superficial damages of human soft tissues based on the method of colorimetry; algorithmic and software of the automated means; methods of determining the time of occurrence of superficial damages of soft tissues of a person with the help of the developed means.
