The thesis provides an investigation of the correlation of categories "socialization", "identity" and "gender socialization" as concepts of the proposed research; the conceptual and categorical apparatus of research is identified (gender, gender approach, gender analysis, gender socialization, gender identity, gender stereotypes, gender expertise, gender-marked, gender-sensitive, gender neutral, gender blind); gender socialization is determined as a result of the interaction of basic social institutions (family, educational institutions, including non-school educational institutions). Psycho-pedagogical conditions of effective gender adolescents' socialization in non-school educational institutions are theoretically grounded, developed and implemented (support of the educational process in non-school educational institutions with methodology and syllabus, application of technology to form gender identity in adolescence in conditions of non-school institutions; the use of active forms and methods of socio-pedagogical work; formation of gender culture of teaching employees as important agents of adolescents' gender socialization). The results of research confirm the formed hypothesis that at the adolescent stage of socialization children learn gender schema of androgynous individuals. Correlation of masculinity and femininity in the male and female types shows that the most part of respondents has strongly marked androgynous type of gender identity. The results can provide the forecasting of nature of gender identity formation at the adolescence stage of socialization as well as in the programs of gender education.
