The thesis is devoted to the study of the ideal image of the adult as a factor of personal development of the teenager. The paper identifies the theoretical approaches to the study of problems of personal development of the teenager. The essence, structure (I-am real (real) I-am ideal (ideal), Real adult, Perfect adult) an ideal image of the adult as a factor of the personal development of a teenager. Method of construction of semantic spaces grounded and developed empirical factor («Status», «Confidence», «Isolation», «Goodwill») of the image, which defines the ideal image of an adult. It is proved the relationship between personal development of a teenager and a perfect adult. Grounded and developed educational psychological programme of personal development of a teenager due to the influence of the ideal image of an adult. Its effectiveness and necessity of introduction is proved in the work with teenagers. The proposed recommendations are practical psychologists, teachers of secondary schools and other institutions of the educational system are for the parents to the personal development of adolescents.
