Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of patterns of the epidemic process West Nile fever (WNF) and its medical value in three administrative regions located in different landscape zones. It was carried determination of the incidence and prevalence of WNF as explicit and covert displays of epidemic process, the calculation of risk factors of virus infection of population. According to hospital supervision it is established that all areas of research are endemic of WNF. A survey of 816 patients with infectious feverish condition unexplained genesis due to hospital supervision standards found 103 ((12.6±1.2) %) serologically verified cases of WNF. The average incidence case rate (ICR) was 22.0 per 100 thousand population. Incidence was the highest in V.-Bereznyanski region (ICR 43.6).
