Essay

The thesis is devoted to developing a unified mathematical model of high pressure discharge lamp covering different types of lamps and provides settings for concrete objects. Selected appropriate computing environment for the implementation of the model and developed the calculation software package. Developed the method, methodology and corresponding software system of making up optimized coefficients of model of high pressure discharge lamp according to experimental data. Defined model coefficients for a high pressure discharge lamps type DRL (high pressure mercury discharge lamp) and DNaT (high pressure sodium vapour discharge lamp) that allows describe it with low error. Researched functioning set “high pressure discharge lamp – start-controlling device” while driving power consumption demonstrating the ability of a unified model to work in difficult conditions.
