Surgical treatment was performed in 158 patients with inguinal hernia. All patients were divided into three groups depending on a type of surgical tecnique. The main group consisted of 67 (42.4%) patients who underwent a modified technique of totally extraperitoneal plastic (TEP-m), the first comparison group consisted of - 70 (44.3%) patients after a laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair (TAPP-repair), the second comparison group consisted of 21 (13.3%) patients who underwent a totally extraperitoneal plastic with fixation (TEP-f).
