Ruban O. Compensation of damage to health and life of a physical person caused at the place of employment under civil legislation of Ukraine.

The thesis is devoted to the research of the civil legal mechanisms for compensation of the damage to health and life suffered by a person at the place of employment. Some aspects of historical development of legal regulation in the sphere of employment relations are analysed, the legal nature of obligations to pay for the damage to health and life of a physical person at the place of employment, grounds and conditions of their appearance are determined. The obligation to pay for the damage to health and life of a physical person suffered while performing employment duties is proved to have a legal nature owing to its subject matter. Procedures for determining the amount of damage to health and life of a physical person at the place of employment and its compensation are researched. It is justified that the extent of compensation can increase and decrease depending on the change of circumstances taken into account at the moment of its fixation, in particular, the dynamics of working capacity of the injured person, the size of the minimum wage, etc.
