The thesis is devoted to the study of increasing the effectiveness of rendering medical care to children with bronchial asthma by taking into account the individual psychological, constitutional and somatic features of the organism and its adaptive capabilities and the development of an improved program of therapeutic and prophylactic measures. A modified integrated approach to the evaluation of clinical and psychological features of 121 children suffering from bronchial asthma, including the diagnosis of psychoemotional disorders, the state of the vegetative system, the determination of the somatotype, the evaluation of the functional reserve of the cardiovascular system and the adaptive potential, which allowed obtaining data that determine the psychosomatic status and Level of adaptation of the patient to a child's asthma, and deepened the understanding of the essence, structure, features of its inner world. New data have been obtained on the role of physical adaptation, constitutional type, violations of autonomic homeostasis, individual psychological characteristics of the organism in the formation of the controllability of bronchial asthma in children. The idea of interrelation of typological, psychoemotional and constitutional features with indices of vegetative homeostasis of children with bronchial asthma is widened. The program of corrective influence on the inner world of a child with bronchial asthma is proposed to improve his mental and somatic state by means of art therapy and its effectiveness is estimated.
