Essay

First in Ukraine the prevalence of thyroid cancer morbidity of populations was studied; the appropriateness of influence of carcinogenic compounds of atmospheric pathology of thyroid had been determined, the period of time of maximum manifestation of cumulative carcinogenic effect had been established. Based on the results of natural experiment the levels of aerogenic load of priority carcinogenic compounds was determined in two populated areas; non carcinogenic risk which has manifestation in pathology in immune, hormonal and endocrine systems, as well as respiratory system and malformations was calculated. The relations between population morbidity of thyroid cancer and level of aerogenic pollution (it has manifestation like a carcinogenic risk) was revealed. The propositions of improvement of the preventive measures taking into account the carcinogenic load and possible mechanism of actions were elaborated.
