Davydenko H. Hygienic assessment of health hazards formed by particulate matter air pollution.

Dissertation is devoted to the scientific substantiation of methodical approaches to the assessment of risks for public health due to air pollution by particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 10 µm (PM10). As a result of the studies emphasize the need to study PM10, which are included in the composition of dust in industrial emissions as the leading risk factor for the health of the population. Proved the feasibility of symbiosis of the methodology of risk assessment and economic approaches in the quantitative assessments of the impact of polluted atmospheric air on health of the population using the economic equivalent of the injury - the "value of statistical life". Identified socio-economic impacts the health of the population at-risk conditions of air pollution by suspended particles of aerodynamic diameter of less than 10 µm(PM10),which generate zones of inhalation risk to the health of the population. The systematic approach allowed to improve scientific approaches to sanitary-hygienic requirements concerning the operation of polluting enterprises.
