Under our supervision there were 219 females diagnosed according to ICD-10 "Acute polymorphic psychotic disorder with symptoms of schyzophrenia" (F23.1). In the 100% of women who underwent primary psychotic episode were recorded manifestations of desadaptation, which manifestated on psycho-emotional, personal or psychosocial levels. The main manifestations of desadaptation in psychoemotional sphere were: evaluation of aggressiveness and hostility levels, high or medium level of depression, high level of anxiety. Among maladaptive personality features were the following: alexitimic personality type, negative self-estimation, character accentuation. Among the psychosocial characteristics that were specific for women, it was determined the violation in child-parental and marital relationships, as well as reducing the overall level of quality of life. The system of psychocorrectional work, which was organized in terms of the support directed at family, was complex and included, along with measures for women with a primary psychotic episode, also therapeutic interventions for male patients. In the group of patients who have had children there were included extra spending measures aimed at correction of the child-parental relationships in family. Implementation of author support, aimed at the family, appeared significantly more effective in comparison with interventions aimed at the patient and can achieve reduction of desadaptation in women after a primary psychotic episode.
