Demyanchuk I. Structurally geographical bases medical geography research of Ternopil region

Thesis is devoted to the substantiation of conceptual principles of constructive-geographic research and medical-geographic issues, in Ternopil region. In this paper reveals the essence of medical-geographic analysis, evaluated and characterized ecological-geographical, demographic, medical-demographic and medical-geographic situation in the region and reasonable method of calculating the integral index of health region with the influence of factors. Reviewed the severity of medical-geographical situation in the Ternopil region, scaled mortality of different age groups (including infants) and the reasons that cause it; described and assessed the level of morbidity (primary and general) in the context of administrative districts and the main causal factors. Based on the calculation of integral index of health made a typology of administrative regions according to this indicator and justified series of measures aimed at improving the medical-geographical situation.
