The dissertation research is devoted to the study and theoretical substantiation of the problem of the application of various kinds of arts at the lessons of musical art with the aim of forming the foundations of the national culture of junior schoolchildren. On the basis of the analysis of scientific, pedagogical and psychological literature, a step-by-step methodology for forming the foundations of the national culture of junior schoolchildren with the means of various kinds of arts at music lessons was developed and tested for the first time; Criteria, indicators and levels of the formation of the foundations of the national culture of junior schoolchildren by means of various kinds of arts; The essence and structure of the given phenomenon is concretized; The features of the integrative approach to musical training of younger schoolchildren have been improved. As a result of the work performed, the effectiveness of the developed step-by-step methodology for forming the foundations of the national culture of junior schoolchildren by means of a comparative analysis of the results obtained in the control and experimental groups was proved. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results of the forming experiment showed an increase in the dynamics of the levels of the formation of the foundations of the national culture of junior schoolchildren in experimental groups, and consequently - the effectiveness and effectiveness of the introduction of a stepwise methodology for the formation of the foundations of the national culture of junior schoolchildren in music lessons was proved.
