Stetsyuk H. The Constitutional and legal regulation of the official name of the state: European and domestic experience

The thesis is devoted to comprehensive comparative and legal research of the phenomenon of the official name of the state. Appearance and genesis of the official name of the state as a state and legal phenomenon, as well as, the peculiarities of its development at the present stage are highlighted. Special attention is given to specific features of the formation of the institute of the official name of the state in Ukraine. The basic forms and methods of constitutional and legal consolidation of the official name of the state in foreign countries, in particular, in the texts of the basic laws (constitutions) and acts of constituent power are analysed. The main features of the structure (internal structure) of the institute of the official name of the modern states, its main functions and characteristic properties are developed. The main features of the constitutional and legal consolidation of the official name of the modern Ukrainian state, as well as the legal regulation of the procedure of its application are researched.
