The problem of vocal and choral preparation of future music teachers in the process of vocational training is investigated in the thesis. It found a solution in the development, justification and experimental verification of the step-by-step methodology of effective formation of students' readiness to work with vocal and choral groups on a praxeological basis. A component structure of the vocal-choral preparedness of future music teachers for work with students has been developed, which includes motivational-adaptive, cognitive-evaluative, active-volitional and creative-regulatory components. Pedagogical conditions for the formation of vocal and choral readiness of future music teachers in the process of vocational training are determined. A special step-by-step methodology for forming the readiness of future music teachers to work with vocal choral ensembles presupposes a sequence of pedagogical work in this direction in accordance with the incentive-orientational, cognitive-analytical process-technological and creative-modeling stages. The effectiveness of the use of a certain set of methods and techniques is confirmed by the positive dynamics of growth of all the structural components of the phenomenon under investigation, which gives grounds to emphasize the appropriateness and perspectivity of using the author's methodology in the system of higher musical and pedagogical education.
