The object of the study is the process of state regulation of industrial cooperation. The subject of the study is a set of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of state regulation of industrial cooperation in Ukraine. The aim of the research is to substantiate the scientific and methodological foundations and develop practical recommendations for improving state regulation of industrial cooperation in Ukraine. The author used general scientific and special research methods, in particular, heuristic analysis and generalization methods, cause-effect relations methods and hypothetical-deductive method, graphoanalytical, cartographic and statistical methods, methods of comparative analysis, synthesis and grouping, system approach. The scientific novelty is: for the first time the concept of state regulation of industrial cooperation has been developed, which, taking into account the peculiarities of its subjects and objects, consists in the formation of a mutually agreed hierarchical system of goals, principles, forms, methods, instruments of state regulation, which allowed identifying priority directions and forming an information and methodical basis To ensure the effective functioning of the industrial cooperation system in Ukraine; The methodical approach to the institutional provision of state regulation of industrial cooperation has been improved, which consists in synthesizing organizational, legislative and infrastructural components of institutional support, which makes the formation of the foundations for the development of the national economy on the platform of industrial cooperation; The approaches to determining the priorities of state regulation of industrial cooperation have been improved, which provide for the system integration of the developing, supportive and sanative types of regulation based on the assessment and diversification of the regions of Ukraine according to the sectoral structure; The elemental saturation of the mechanism of state regulation of industrial cooperation is improved, based on the interaction of such components as: organizational, legislative, information, infrastructure, financial and economic, invest and innovative; Further developed the conceptual-categorical apparatus of such definitions as " industrial cooperation" and "state regulation of industrial cooperation", The systematization of the forms of organization of industrial cooperation was further developed according to the criterion of the legal formality of the relationships between the participants, which made it possible to single out hard, soft and mixed varieties of it, and allowed to structure the state regulatory policy taking into account the identified features. The sphere of author's recommendations are bodies of state power and local self-government, enterprises and their associations, educational institutions.
