In the dissertation the problem of preparation of the future teachers of music for the singing activity of pupils in extracurricular art institutions is investigated, which is reflected in the theoretical and methodological justification and determination of the specifics of this phenomenon, the development and experimental verification of the step-by-step methodology. The developed methodology includes the following stages: cognitive-search, information-competence, reflexive-directed, creative-productive. The generalization of the results of the introduction of the experimental methodology made it possible to determine the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the preparedness of future music teachers for the singing activity of students in extracurricular art institutions. The practical result of the introduction of the developed and approved methodological model of the preparation of future music teachers for the singing activity of students in out-of-school art institutions provides for the application of a complex of effective methods and techniques of the designated work. The expected result was the readiness of future music teachers for the singing activity of students in out-of-school art institutions, which is confirmed by the positive dynamics of growth of all structural components of the studied pedagogical phenomenon and that gives grounds to emphasize the expediency and prospects of its application for improving the efficiency of professional training of art faculty students at pedagogical universities.
