The thesis is devoted to research of content, activity and dispersity of radioactive aerosols (RA) within "Shelter" objects' local area at the stage of erection of New Safe Confinement (NSC) "Arch" for estimate of safety works. Based on scientific analysis of the results of multiyear continuous monitoring of radioactive aerosols in the local area of "Shelter" object (2001 - 2013) it was demonstrated that during the construction of NSC "ARCH", under treatment of radioactive ground RA source was formed which resulted in the growth of RA concentration. Regularities in RA behavior were determined under the action of natural and anthropogenic factors, a qualitative assessment was made of dispersion, and changes in RA fractioning were determined, and annual personnel exposure doses were estimated. Development and testing of new methodical approach for sampling radioactive aerosols (RA) under monitoring of near-surface air layer were carried out which is based on using compositions of filters, that is allow increasing expressiveness and duration of aerosol sampling, and improving the capture of submicron aerosols.
