Grigorova G. Concept of the Juvenile Responsibility in the Ukrainian Law

Relevant scientific works on the problem of forming institute of juvenile of responsibility in Ukrainian law have been researched. The author defines theoretical and methodological ground of the juvenile responsibility studies, reveals social factors that influence juvenile delinquent behavior. Legal ignorance is defined as one of the reasons that can cause juvenile delinquent behavior. Considers that legal ignorance is caused by lack of knowledge on the legality of behavior. The author defines the place of the institute of juvenile responsibility in the system of legal liability, forms definition of juvenile responsibility. Positive and negative forms of juvenile responsibility were examined, precisely defined, that both forms may have only retrospective nature. Develops main principles of juvenile responsibility that reflect standards settled in international documents.
