Shevchuk Z. Verbalization of woman's linguistic portrait (based on modern Ukrainian women's prose)

The thesis looks at the complex analysis of linguistic tools to represent a woman's linguistic portrait in modern Ukrainian women's prose, in specific, it gives the main theoretical approaches to the subject of a linguistic personality; analyzes the notions and terminology for linguistic portraying with the accent on combination of the terms linguistic personality - linguistic portrait; groups lexical units denoting body parts and their characteristics according to the perceptual and parametric components to describe woman's appearance and defines the clusters of features to reproduce her inner features; analyzes the expressiveness of cohesion, emotionally colored lexical units and other linguistic means representing the informative function of woman's portrayal; defines the role of symbolic nomination of woman's clothes, footwear, accessories; points out the main types of secondary nominations denoting a woman.
