The object is the process of guaranteeing the ecological and economic security of the objects of life support of Ukraine and its regions; the goal is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations for ensuring the ecological and economic security of life support facilities of the population of Ukraine and the priority directions of its increase on the basis of formation of strategic management and improvement of the corresponding mechanisms at different levels; methods – system, regional and location analysis, normative, economic-mathematical, problem-oriented; Novelty – a comprehensive assessment of the level of ecological and economic security of life support facilities of the population of Ukraine is carried out, which makes it possible to evaluate it systematically in relation to regional structures and to determine the directions of safety management; results – methodical approaches to the assessment of the state and dynamics of ecological and economic security of life support facilities of the population taking into account the influence of stimulating and disintegrating components; introduced into economic practice.
