The thesis is a complex research the problems of the protection of the author's rights in civil proceedings. The evolution of legal regulation of author's rights in civil proceedings is traced, the state of scientific research and the methodology of its study is outlined, the features of the legal nature of the author's rights as an object of protection in civil proceedings are singled out, the concept and essence of the protection of the author's rights in civil proceedings are defined. It is formulated the concept and made a classification of lawsuit of the protection of the author's rights in civil proceedings. It is defined the civil procedural status of the persons involved in cases of the protection of the author's rights in civil proceedings. The specific evidence and proof is outlined.
