The thesis defines the essence and content of ecologically balanced management of forestry. The author generalized and deepened theoretical approaches to the formation organizational-economic mechanism of ecologically balanced management of forestry. The present state and challenges of management in forestry of Ukraine are analyzed. Methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of ecologically balanced forest management are improved. The strategic priorities of ecologically balanced development of forestry are substantiated. The author perfected the financial tools for regulating the reproduction of forest resources. The proposals on efficient functioning of the elements of the organizational-economic mechanism of ecologically balanced forest management are substantiated
