Ostapenko Y. Forgery by an Official: Criminological Characteristics and Prevention

The formation and development of criminal liability for forgery by an official within the historical and legal aspect have been studied. The author has accomplished criminal and legal characteristics of forgery by an official. The author has analyzed quantitative and qualitative indicators of forgery by an official. Criminological characteristics of an offender's personality, who commits forgery have been provided. The analysis of the content of theoretical provisions of the determination has been realized; and the determinants of forgery by an official through the allocation of the factors-reasons and factors-conditions have been found out. Propositions concerning the areas of preventing forgery by an official on general social level have been formulated.
