Object - postoperative wounds, concomitant obesity; goal – to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with postoperative wounds and associated obesity, operated on the abdominal organs and abdominal wall, by developing new ones and introducing in practice improved diagnostic and therapeutic measures; methods – clinical, laboratory, morphological, bacteriological, biophysical, instrumental, statistical; results – for the first time, a new information program for the computer prediction of the postoperative course in surgical patients with different body weights; developed and proposed "Method for determining peripheral blood filling of the anterior abdominal wall" before and after surgery for predicting purulent-inflammatory complications in postoperative wounds in surgical patients with different body weight; a directly proportional relationship between the increase in quantity and the variety of microorganisms in the anterior thoracic and abdominal walls and the increase in the degree of obesity is proved; for the first time, the state of bactericidal activity of the skin of the anterior thoracic and abdominal walls in people with different body weights; It is proved that with the increase in the degree of obesity the bactericidal activity of the skin decreases, which in turn, together with the increase in microbial contamination of the skin, significantly increases the risk of purulent inflammatory complications in postoperative wounds in surgical patients; a comprehensive program for the prevention of complications has been scientifically substantiated, which includes the application of techniques for processing the surgical field, operative access with laxative incisions, joining the edges of the wound and using antimicrobial drainages in combination with vi-broacoustic therapy; branch – medicine.
