Sokolovska I. Principles of renovation of architectural environment in areas of mass building cities in Ukraine

There were found three current trends in renovation of architectural environment: local, complex and systemic. Trends are made up of different combinations of levels of renovation. Also found that the architectural and artistic renewal of mass building areas associated with such directions as neorationalism, postmodernism and productivism. It was identified principles of renovation of architectural environment of mass building, their arrangement and stylistic of coordination of architectural and artistic images of the urban environment in these areas. The renovation's principles are coordinated with each other, complement each other and based on known Vitruvian architectural and town-planning principles. The structural and logical model for renovation of the architectural environment was proposed. The stages of projecting were improved with considering of the renovation features. Were offered the ways of improving regulatory documents of Ukraine. The concept of "renovation" was extended in the context of updating the residential areas of mass building in Ukraine cities.
