For the first time the pharmacognostic research of carotenoid-contained species and varietesof genus Tagetes L. was carried out. Also for the first timeanti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant substancies were obtained. The composition and contain of main bioigical activity compounds was studied. The distinguishing morphological and anatomical features of the plant material were determined. The technology of obtaining of the lipophylical extracts from the inflorescences of Tagetes genus spp. was developed. The projects of the quality control of the Tagetes inflorescences and Tagetes extractum lipophylicum were proposed. The toxicity and the pharmacology activities of the obtained extracts were investigated.The bacteriostatic and micostatic properties of the essential oils from the inflorescences of the investigated species of Tagetes L. were studied.
