This thesis is devoted to solution of important scientific and applied problem of the justification of the theoretical foundations and identify areas for improvement in financial risk management in international lending to Ukraine. To solve this problem were defined theoretical-methodological bases of system research of the essence of financial risk management and their role in ensuring the financial security of the country. Systematic financial risks (market, liquidity, credit, operational, etc.) in the context of international lending to the country. With the aim of improving the quality of management decisions and justification of strategic directions of socio-economic development of Ukraine the algorithm of evaluating the effectiveness of financial risk management in international lending.
