This research focuses on the category of "Corpus delicti" and some of its elements: object, objective side, subject and subjective side. An identification of the corpus delicti in the general theory of law and other areas of law had been made. The author offers to enter into scientific use the concept of "the corpus delicti of public law" and "the corpus delicti of private law ": proposed to enrich the understanding of the corpus delicti in the general theory of law by reasonable transferring the essential characteristics of the corpus delicti, that are characteristic for public and private law fields, into the cloth of general theory of law
