This dissertation is devoted to the study of features of constitutional and legal regulation and protection of the legal regime of the State border of Ukraine. Covers theoretical and methodological basis and constitutionally the legal bases and the State border of Ukraine, his regime, protection and conservation of existing became their borders. Deals with constitutional and legal principles of development and functioning of State borders. A study of doctrinal and regulatory sources regarding the nature of the concept of the border and related concepts of them allows you to do a number of conclusions. First, in the the most general form of the State border is defined as the officially defined line, limit the vertical surface, passing on this line, and outlines the territory, which extends the authority.
