Andrusyak I. Idea of gender equality in the Ukrainian legal opinion of the late nineteenth century

The dissertation is a complex research of theoretical and applied problems of the origin, formation and development of gender equality in the Ukrainian legal thought of the late nineteenth century. The methodological basis of the dissertation research is characterized, the definition of certain methods and principles of scientific knowledge, which were used to reveal the topic, is given. A significant array of historiographic material, works of the said figures, literature and press of the outlined period has been processed. The analysis of formation and development of the idea of gender equality in the Ukrainian legal thought of the second half of the 19th century was carried out, which occurred in three interconnected planes.
