Essay

The thesis is devoted to deepening of theoretical and substantiation of methodological approaches to the assessment of the competitiveness of enterprises, developing of integrated approaches to strategic management of their competitiveness. In this thesis the concepts and categories of the theory of competitiveness are examined and effective, structural-functional and situational-behavioral approaches to determining the competitiveness of enterprises are singled out. There have been selected general and specific features of strategic management for enterprises in the service industry as well as have been improved methodological instruments of evaluation of enterprises competitiveness and they were adapted to the market of services. There have been conducted diagnostics of enterprises of the tourism market in Ukraine, have been proposed segmentation of the target market and identified the main trends of the tourism market and prospects for its future development. There also have been identified the factors that affect the competitiveness of the core subjects of target market. The thesis contains grounded cyclic model of strategic management of competitiveness for enterprises of the tourism market that is based on the taxonomic analysis of targets and allows to develop a strategy of competitiveness of tourism enterprises by considering strategic alternatives and formalizing strategic map with a focus on the expected indicators of modified service marketing complex.
