Author gave a theoretical explanation and a new solution of the scientific problem of the influence of the statin-therapy on the process of development of an early period of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) with permanent ST elevation on electrocardiogram on the basis of study of features of lipid metabolism, intensity of systemic inflammation, assessment of the condition of endothelial function, change of the size of inflamed myocardium's seat, characteristics of pumping function and post-infarction left ventricular remodeling of such patients. An integrated assessment of hypolipidemic and pleiotropic effects of statins during first 10 days of ACS was made, the mechanisms of statin influence on early post-infarction left ventricular remodeling and differentiated tactic of patient management in early hospital period were substantiated.
