Essay

Object - experimental cranioscheletal trauma, correction efficiency with plant extract; the purpose - to find out the effect of cranioscheletal trauma on functional and morphological disorders of the liver during the later manifestations of cranioscheletal trauma and to study the effectiveness of therapy with the help of herbal extract; methods - pathophysiological, biochemical, physiological, morphological, mathematic-statistical; results - it is established the peculiarities of the pathogenesis of morphofunctional disorders of the liver, kidneys and lungs during the period of late manifestations of traumatic diseases after cranioskeletal trauma and effectiveness of herbal extract application; For the first time it has been shown that during 14-35 days after cranioskeletal trauma an activity of lipid peroxidation processes were increased and antioxidant defense in the blood and liver tissue of experimental animals were decreased; cytolytic syndrome and endotoxicosis, disturbance of biliary and bile secretion of the liver, dystrophic-necrotic changes in the liver, kidneys and lungs were observed, which decrease to 35 days, but in most, did not reach the level of control group of animals; After applying of herbal extract from the 14th day of the posttraumatic period, which includes grass arnica, roots of pepper creeping, flower of marigolds, nettle leaves, birch leaves, the signs of tissue regeneration were more pronounced, especially after 35 days after trauma. It is observed less accumulation of lipoperoxidation products, increased antioxidant defense, significantly lower levels of cytolysis and endotoxicosis, less disturbances in biliary function of the liver in compare to animals without correction, as well as, the expressed signs of regeneration of the liver, kidneys and lungs.
