Object - the process of teaching Humanities and Arts at a secondary school; aim - to find out the influence of scientifically substantiated means of implementing the technology of Humanities and Arts content integration at a secondary school on the quality of pupils' training; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to provide the scientific substantiation and experimental testing of the technology of Humanities and Arts content integration at a secondary school; the means allowing for the implementation of the technology have been worked out and experimentally tested; the definition of the term "content integration" has been specified as the process of arrangement of the system of structural units of curriculum subjects and their internal links; the mechanisms of integration of curriculum subjects' content and the criteria and indicators of education quality are analysed; the forms, methods, means and teaching resources providing for the implementation of different modes of the content integration technology have been studied; results - the technology of Humanities and Arts content integration at a secondary school has been experimentally tested, the results achieved have proved its efficiency and allow for the implementation of the researched technology in school, lyceum and gymnasium teaching process; the author's programme of the integrated course "History of Ukraine and Fine Arts" for the pupils of the 5th form has been worked out and tested; the teaching manual "Fine Arts: Thematic and Lesson Planning" for the pupils of the 5th form has been compiled. The theoretical ideas and practical results of the research will be helpful to secondary school teachers engaged in working out teaching programmes, teaching materials and textbooks and to students working at course, diploma and Master degree diploma papers; field - pedagogy.
