Object – the process of organizational and economic provision of environmental housing and communal services; the purpose is to develop conceptual and theoretical and methodological foundations of the organizational and economic mechanism of ecologization of housing and communal services development in the conditions of ecologically oriented economy; methods – generalization, system and statistical analysis, institutional and graphic; Novelty – a methodology for assessing the socio-ecological and economic development of housing and communal services, based on the integrated consideration of the level of its ecologization in terms of use of multi-factor indicators; results – theoretical approaches to the formation of organizational and economic mechanism of ecologization of housing and communal services development, which, unlike existing ones, foresees the use as the structural elements of the newest instruments of stimulation of the studied sphere in the process of transition to sustainable development; introduced into economic practice.
