The dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive view of either theoretical or practical topics concerning the criminal and legal characteristics of the institute carrying out the extradition of people committed a criminal act. The theoretical and methodological backgrounds to the issue discussed in the thesis are outlined as well as peculiarities of the formation of not only the extradition institute, but also the international legal regulations of the extradition of people committed a criminal act are given. The extradition institute general principles are analyzed within the criminal law of Ukraine. The essence of the institute mentioned above is revealed. The criminal legal grounds for the extradition of people committed a criminal act are examined. Peculiarities of the implementation of the institute carrying out the extradition of people committed a criminal act within the law enforcement practice are studied. Criminal-procedural and criminal-executive principles of the institute of the extradition in Ukraine are defined. Conclusions are drawn and practical proposals important for criminal law are formulated.
