The thesis is devoted to theoretical and legal problems of doctrinal interpretation of the law. Studied formal and essential features of doctrinal interpretation of the law. Author's definition of doctrinal interpretation of the law as a scientific, intellectual and volitional activity of clarification and explanation of the content of legal phenomena that has subjectively objective. The thesis examines in detail origins of scientific views on doctrinal interpretation of the law from the standpoint of the major schools of law, and evolution of this phenomenon. Details are analyzed principles, functions and types of doctrinal interpretation of the law. The scientific conclusions are formulated. This will help to expand the boundaries of scientific analysis of the doctrinal interpretation of law, the further development of the theory of state and law, the practical solution of some problems related to the doctrinal interpretation of law.
