Essay

In the work for the first time in the Ukrainian linguistic style a description of the onymic units of different classes of Ukrainian prose satirical-humorous texts of the end of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century was introduced and the specifics of the use of their own names were revealed. Literary-artistic onyms as specific language units have differentials, characteristic in general for the whole class of proper names, certain categories of their own names or individual nominations. The theoretical and methodological principles of the study of literary-artistic onymies were supplemented, in particular, the periodization of the development of literary and artistic onomastics in Ukraine was proposed. The structural-semantic and functional-stylistic classifications of literary-artistic anthroponyms of satirical-humorous text got further development; the potential-function possibilities of the titles in the modern satirical-humorous text are described. According to structural features, models of one-, two- and three-membered formulas are singled out. It is found out that from the one-word names in the literary-artistic anthroponyms of Ukrainian satirical-humorous prose of the late XX - early XXI century the demonstration names occupy a significant place, which reveal not only the author's position towards the named image, but also in the context of the literary work can acquire various connotations. The single-member antroponyms are semantically transparent and not only express the author's and reader's attitude to the character, but also serve as a means of disclosing his inner intentions. In the binomial anthropology formula, the "name + last name" and "demo-name + surname (or modification of surname)" prevail. In satirical-humorous texts the three-membered namesformula is used to identify middle and senior characters who occupy a certain position or have a definite social status.
