Kiriienko V. Criminal-legal and Criminological Bases of Prevention Driving a Person into Suicide or Attempted Suicide

Dissertation is devoted to a complex research of criminal-legal and criminological bases of prevention driving a person into suicide or attempted suicide in Ukraine. For the first time a holistic concept of prevention of the criminal phenomenon was formed, scientifically grounded proposals were developed, aimed at improving the legislation on criminal liability in this area and the practice of its application. The dissertation uncovers content of the elements of criminological characteristic of crimes connected with driving a person into suicide, for instance data on the state, structure and dynamic of offences, reasons and conditions abetting their commitment, social-psychological characteristics of offenders and victims. The dissertation elaborates preventive measure for driving a person into suicide promoted by illegal activity of "death groups" in Internet and Cyber bulling social networks.
