Essay

The object is management processes of natural monopolies enterprises. The goal is to develop theoretical and methodological approaches as well as to provide practical recommendations aimed at improving the management of energy companies assuming that the organizational structure of natural monopolies enterprises is transformed. The methods are the following: the dialectical method of cognition and systematic approach; the method of logical generalization; general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, transition from abstract to concrete; the method of content analysis; the grouping method; methods of analogies and combinatorics; graphical methods. The results include a theoretical generalization and a new proposed solution to the scientific problem, involving the development and substantiation of theoretical foundations, models and methods for improving the management of energy companies activities on the basis of transformation. The novelty - there improved: enterprise management based on the power companies transformation, considering the economic, structural and information entropy of the economic environment; transformation processes of power companies in the transmission and supply of electricity, determining their interaction with the electricity market and achieving the necessary indicators of electricity quality, in accordance with the processes unity of analysis and synthesis, the technologically consistent integration during individual supply operations, as well as transferring into distinct production processes and management influences; the concept of power companies transformation aimed at the allocation of a non-monopoly structure and consequently the creation of independent enterprises for the transmission and supplying of electricity; the model of step-by-step implementation of the transformation program, differing from others by the fact that over the unsteady period and during the strategic plan implementing by means of cyclically repeating steps it assumes the choice of the best options for innovation development by means of the current adjustment of the implementation process at each stage in accordance with the results of enterprises development formed by the power company transformation and the dynamics of the wholesale electricity market; organizational and economic principles of power companies transformation by planning the functions of enterprises management for electricity transmission and supplying based on these processes decomposition, separating the organizational and economic constituent elements of the structure transformation, integrating strategic initiatives and transformation measures into relevant programs and processes; further developed: a methodical approach to basics determining of energy companies transformation to electricity supply companies, generalizing and specifying natural monopolies positive features as significantly and socioeconomically important, as well as negative ones, caused, first of all, by long-term administrative management and slow transformation processes in the economy of Ukraine, the lack of both a competitive environment and innovation development, which determine management; a key factors set of the public benefits for efficiency assessing of the transformation and development of enterprises in the energy sector, which makes it possible to implement the tariff policy in a monopoly type of activity clearly - to transmit electric energy by local systems and, accordingly, to reduce electricity tariffs and in stages to implement innovational and investment development of enterprises for electricity transmission and supplying, as well as to improve their management in the future full-scale competitive market/
