Agababov R. Prevention and treatment of placental dysfunction in pregnant women with an infection of the lower urinary tract.

In the dissertation the new solution of the actual problem of modern obstetrics and gynecology is given - reduction of the frequency of placental dysfunction and its consequences and increase of efficiency and safety of treatment of infection of lower urinary tract units in pregnant women. On the basis of a retrospective analysis of the peculiarities of the course of pregnancy and childbirth during pregnancy cystitis and asymptomatic bacteriuria, the influence of uroinfection on the development of gestational complications has been proved. The characteristic of urogenital microbiota in pregnant women with infection of the lower urinary tract is given and the connection between the biocenosis of the vagina and the lower sections of the urinary tract is established. Detected morphological features of the afterbirth from the infected lower urinary tract units during pregnancy with the use of light and electron microscopy and the role of involution-dystrophic, dyscirculatory and hemorrhagic processes, as well as the formation of calcifications due to the calcifying activity of nanobacteria in the development of placenta dysfunction in the infection of the lower urinary tract paths. The author developed and implemented a pathogenetically substantiated medical diagnostic algorithm and a combined method of prophylaxis and treatment of placental dysfunction in pregnant women with the infection of the lower urinary tract, which led to a decrease in the frequency of relapses of infection during pregnancy, a decrease in the frequency of placental dysfunction and related obstetric, perinatal and infectious complications.
