The object of the research is the process of increasing the accuracy of measurement of the light values of continuous and pulsed optical radiation. The purpose of the study is to develop methods for reproduction and transmission luminous intinsity, illuminance, illumination and measurements of pulsed optical radiation parameters. Research methods: mathematical and physical modulation, differential and integral calculus, methods of measuring equipment, methods of the point source, the law of inverse squares. Planning and processing of the results of experimental work was carried out using mathematical statistics methods. The scientific novelty: the mathematical model of reprodduction of the luminous intensity unit has been improved, which allowed to propose a new method based on the trap-detector and a color narrowband light-emitting diode with a symmetrical radiation spectrum; for the first time the method of correction of the results of measuring the distance between the source of radiation and detector when calculating the luminous intensity of non-point sources is proposed, which allows to increase the accuracy and significantly reduce the size of optical stands at metrological studies of radiation sources snd light intensity meters; for the first time the method of taking into account the parameter of the form of the optical signal for metrological provision of measurements of the pulsation coefficient has been proposed, which increased the accuracy and made it possible to scientifically substantiate the creation of a new normative base for the metrological provision of the pulsation coefficient; the method of metrological research of photometers, under the influence of modulated optical radiation, has been further developed, which allows to improve the accuracy of the measurement of illumination. Degree of introduction: the results of the research were introduced to the scientific and research organizations in the field of metrology and tangible courses of higher education. Scope: the main effect from the introduction of developed measures will improve the accuracy of measurement of light values.
