Essay

Object of research: state regulation of development of the investment and construction sector. Objective: substantiation of the theoretical and methodological provisions, development of the scientific and practical recommendations concerning the mechanisms of the state regulation of development the of investment and construction sector of Ukraine. Methods: synthesis, analysis, scientific abstraction, statistical analysis, logical generalization and grouping, system-structural analysis, economic-mathematical modelling, configurations, correlation, regression and discriminant analysis. Results: substantiation of the theoretical and methodological provisions, methodical, scientific and practical recommendations concerning the mechanisms of the state regulation of development of the investment and construction sector of Ukraine. Novelty: conceptual directions of the state regulation of development of the investment and construction sector of Ukraine have been substantiated; the conceptual approach to the state regulation of the development of the investment and construction sphere in regions with the battered economy has been improved; the principles of use of the state construction order on the basis of full resource availability of the region has been further developed, etc. The results have been implemented in the activities of the Committee on Construction, Urban Development and Housing and Communal Services of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, the Kyiv Regional Council, the Academy of Municipal Management. Areas of use: public authorities of the national and regional levels, businesses, non-government organisations.
